Free music downloads from Napster
Recently I've been checking out places to go to get unlimited downloads in MP3 format. Right now I'm checking out Napster's service whereby for a small monthly fee you can download tons of great jazz music. The first seven days are totally free so I will be a downloading maniac for the next week or so checking out the service. I just downloaded the Napster software last night, and I am putting it through its paces and saying exactly what is available and how easy the software is to use.
I have to admit I am a little behind the times in that I don't own an iPod or any other MP3 player at the moment. But I've made the decision to take the plunge and get in the 21st century. That is one reason I've been looking into download services. I do remember Napster when I was just a filesharing network and they got sued by everybody and his brother in the music industry.
From what I can tell this is going to be a terrific way to not only get a lot of great jazz music onto CD and into my iPod, but also a terrific way to create playlists read on my computer so while I'm doing busy work I can be also listening.. I've already searched for a lot of jazz artists, including some obscure ones, and they are available.
At the end of my free trial, I will be making a short video to show you exactly how the software works and the number of jazz titles that are available. If you don't want to wait, click here to download the software and get your seven day free trial. I figured there is nothing to lose and I can get a lot of music downloaded in a weeks time. I'll keep you posted on this.
