NOT Just For Trombone Players

When I'm searching for things on the Internet, I find myself searching a few different sites for information that I'm looking for.  One is a search engine such as Yahoo, Google or MSN and the other one I spend much time and is eBay and also Amazon.com

As a trombone player, I like to keep abreast of the trombones and other jazz stuff that is listed on eBay.  As you can probably tell from some of the pages on this web site that deliver big band chart listings directly to a page on this site, I do like eBay a lot. You can really find some terrific used instruments, and some dirt cheap CDs although you do need to check back regularly to get them just before auctions end.  I have found that the eBay site can be pretty slow and I have DSL access.

I wanted something that would quickly give me information and eBay listings for a variety of things very quickly, not just big band charts.

Since I have an interest in jazz, jazz music, jazz players, etc. I have been working on putting up a site that will enable anyone to quickly search for jazz related items throughout the Internet-quickly and easily.  For a prototype, I converted my trombone site to what will eventually be a jazz search tool.

To try out the prototype, go to http://www.trombonestop.com

Obviously this site is at first glance geared towards trombone players, but try searching for any jazz term such as Miles Davis and you'll quickly see how fast you can get Internet information, as well as eBay and Amazon listings with one click.

I will let you guys know when I roll out the entire jazz site.   I think it will really be a time-saving and handy tool for people interested in jazz. I know I plan on using it quite a bit. Let me know how you like it.
