Bill Cosby Story of Sitting in With Sonny Stitt

Bill Cosby is one of the greatest story tellers of our time. Even the most mundane story keeps you riveted when Bill tells it.

What alot of people don't know however is that Bill originally wanted to be a jazz musician in his early days.  This was before he started making ALOT more money than he ever could as a jazz player.

I stumbled across this Dick Cavett episode (must be from the 1970s) of Bill telling a great story of sitting in with some jazz giants, Reggie Workman and the "Isaac Stern" of jazz, Sonny Stitt. This is pretty long but with Bill telling the story, you can totally picture the scene.  I'm sure if there are any drummers reading this, they will totally be able  to relate.  Enjoy...!
